Information We Collect
1. Information you provide via the contact form
When you fill out the contact form on root-well.com, you may share:
- Your name (required)
- Email address (required)
- WhatsApp / phone number (optional)
- The message you write to us (required)
Submitting the form opens WhatsApp with your details pre-filled in a message to +91 70045 96050. The form does not send data to any database, server, or third-party CRM. Your details only reach us once you press send inside WhatsApp.
2. Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic. This collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited, approximate location (city/country), device type, browser, referrer, and basic interaction events (e.g. order_now_click, whatsapp_click, contact_form_submit). IP addresses are anonymised by Google. We do not use this data to personally identify you.
3. Information you share over WhatsApp / email
When you message us on WhatsApp or email rootwell12@gmail.com, we receive whatever you choose to send (name, phone number, address for delivery, order details, health concerns you mention, etc.). These are stored in our WhatsApp Business and email inbox solely to serve you.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry, consultation request, or order
- To process and ship orders you place through WhatsApp
- To send order updates and shipment tracking information
- To improve our website, content, and product based on aggregate analytics
- To comply with Indian tax and consumer-protection law (e.g. GST records)
We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or targeted advertising on third-party platforms.
Cookies & Tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

_ga,_ga_*) — measure aggregate site usage. Set by Google. - Functional cookies — a cookie may be set to remember UI state (e.g. sidebar). No personal data is stored.

Sharing Your Information
We never sell your personal data. We share it only with the limited service providers needed to run RootWell:
- WhatsApp / Meta — to deliver and receive messages you send us.
- Google (Analytics, Search, Merchant Center) — for traffic measurement and product listings.
- Shipping & courier partners — name, address, phone number for order delivery.
- Payment processors — when you pay online, the processor receives the details required to complete the transaction. We never see your full card or UPI credentials.
- Government authorities — when legally required (tax, regulatory, or lawful request).
Data Retention
WhatsApp and email conversations are retained for as long as needed to support you and meet legal obligations (typically up to 7 years for invoice and tax records under Indian law). Anonymised analytics data is retained per Google's default settings (currently 14 months).
Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (and equivalent laws if you are based elsewhere) you can:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct or delete your data
- Withdraw consent for future communications
- Raise a grievance with our point of contact (below)

Children's Privacy
RootWell is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has shared data with us, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Our website is served over HTTPS. WhatsApp messages are end-to-end encrypted between you and us. While no system is 100% secure, we apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage or via direct communication where appropriate.
